The national flagpole on Phu Quy island was started construction in June 2015 at the eastern tip of Chuoi hill, below is Ganh Hang beach (Trieu Duong village, Tam Thanh commune). Flagpole has a height of 22.6m, reinforced concrete, facing the sea. The national flag of the flagpole has a size of 4m x 6m, sewn with high-strength fabric, suitable for the characteristics of the sea breeze.
