The national flagpole on Phu Quy island (Binh Thuan) has become a favorite destination of many domestic and foreign tourists.
The national flagpole on Phu Quy island was started construction in June 2015 at the eastern tip of Chuoi hill, below is Ganh Hang beach (Trieu Duong village, Tam Thanh commune). Flagpole has a height of 22.6m, reinforced concrete, facing the sea. The national flag of the flagpole has a size of 4m x 6m, sewn with high-strength fabric, suitable for the characteristics of the sea breeze.
This is one of 7 sovereignty flagpoles built within the framework of the project to build the National Sovereignty Flagpole on the outpost islands spread across the country, including: Tran island (Quang Ninh), Bach Long Vi island (Quang Ninh province), Bach Long Vi island (Quang Ninh province). Hai Phong), Hon La island (Quang Binh), Cu Lao Xanh island (Binh Dinh), Phu Quy island (Binh Thuan), Con Son island (Ba Ria – Vung Tau) and Tho Chu island (Kien Giang).
